During this multitasking workshop the myth of multitasking is unveiled. Research has shown that multitasking does not exist. What we thought of as multitasking is in fact quickly switching from task to task. We call this switchtasking. The artist will show in a humorous and interactive way that switchtasking undermines our performance. Ideally, we strive for monotasking, -completing one task before moving on to the next one- but nowadays it is expected that we balance multiple tasks at the same time. This multitasking workshop provides the participants with a better understanding of the concept and tips & tricks to be more efficient when multiple tasks need to be executed in their professional and private lives.
